Combine the legendary wildlife of the Masai Mara with the scenic landscapes of Lake Naivasha for the perfect balance of safari and relaxation.

Day 1: Nairobi – Samburu

Your safari begins with pick-up from your hotel or airport in Nairobi followed by a safari briefing. Travel north through the scenic Kenyan countryside with a stop in Nanyuki for lunch. Arrive in Samburu in the afternoon, check in at your lodge, and enjoy an evening game drive along the Ewaso Nyiro River in search of the reserve’s unique wildlife. Dinner and overnight in Samburu.

Day 2: Full Day Samburu

After breakfast, enjoy a full-day game drive in Samburu National Reserve. The reserve is home to the rare Samburu Special Five, including Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk, and Beisa oryx. Large elephant herds, lions, and leopards can also be spotted throughout the reserve. Picnic lunch is served inside the park. Optional: Visit a local cultural village to experience traditional customs and lifestyles. Dinner and overnight in Samburu.

Day 3: Samburu – Aberdares

Begin the day with an early morning game drive when predators and other wildlife are most active. After breakfast, check out and depart for Aberdare National Park. Upon arrival, transfer to your lodge overlooking the famous waterholes and salt licks. From the lodge balconies, guests often observe elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, genet cats, and occasionally the rare bongo antelope. Dinner and overnight in Aberdare

Day 4: Aberdares – Lake Nakuru

After breakfast, enjoy a scenic drive through Aberdare before reconnecting with your driver at the Aberdare Country Club. Continue to Lake Nakuru, arriving in the late afternoon for check-in, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru – Nairobi

After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. Famous for its rhinos, flamingos, lions, and scenic viewpoints, the park offers excellent wildlife viewing opportunities. After the game drive, depart for Nairobi with a lunch stop at Mai Mahiu before drop-off at your hotel or the airport.
